This piece erupts with eyes and blooming forms, built in thick pastel layers that I scratched back into with a blade to reveal hidden texture. It is about paranoia that comes from within, the feeling of being watched and judged by your own mind. The eyes stare back, accusing and observing, while the flowers grow out of that discomfort. It sits between beauty and unease, like self-doubt that will not leave.
