This piece is about how often I was silenced for being the youngest and for being a girl. I drew myself with a pacifier as a symbol of forced quiet, then hand-carved the word shush into a print block and stamped it into the surface to reclaim it. What used to shut me down becomes a mark I chose, turning silence into protest and voice into something visible.
